“The Unexpected Guests”At Stratford

Melissa Conelli and her mother after the performanceMelissa Conelli and her mother after the performance Second graders in Miss McCavera’s class at Stratford School recently performed the play “The Unexpected Guests” for parents, relatives and friends. This culminated weeks of preparation. The students worked on memorizing their lines, remembering their cues and giving expression to their words and actions. They recorded their feelings throughout the process in written assignments. The children were extremely proud of their accomplishments. They are anxiously awaiting spring when they will give another performance.
