Santa Brunch

The annual Santa Brunch is back! Please join us on Saturday, December 17th, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Nassau County Bar Association. A brunch will be served at 10:30 followed by a visit with Santa. Please bring a wrapped gift clearly marked with your child’s name on it for Santa to hand out. The cost of this event is $25 for adults, $15 for children ages 4 and over, and $7 for children under 4. Please send checks payable to the Garden City Welcoming Club to Dale O’Brien at 64 Brixton Road. For seating purposes, please specify the names and ages of all children attending. Also please indicate requests to sit with other families - tables can accommodate up to 10 people.

Children’s Bowling

Ring in the New Year with a fun bowling event for the kids! Join us January 16th at Garden City Bowl, 987 Stewart Avenue, at 12 p.m. The children will enjoy two games of bowling along with a pizza lunch. The cost per child is $15. Please send checks made payable to the Garden City Welcoming Club to Agnes Boyle at 31 Cambridge Avenue. Checks need to be received by January 6th.

Membership in the Garden City Welcoming Club is open to all village residents. If you are new to town or currently reside in Garden City please call 775-5154 for more information regarding membership. The club organizes various activities for women, children, couples, and families throughout the year and is an excellent forum for meeting and socializing within the community.
