Judy Keenan (left) and Laura CondulisJudy Keenan (left) and Laura Condulis Through the combined efforts of the GCTA, the PTA and Long Island Blood Services, over 190 pints of blood were donated from members of the Garden City School community. For 10 hours parents, teachers, staff members, administration and students streamed into the High School gym to roll up their sleeves and make this most generous gift. This was the first year 16-year-old students were allowed to donate blood. The GCTA and PTA would like to thank all of the wonderful donors who helped to make this most successful drive yet. Next year’s blood drive will be on Tuesday, November 14, 2006.
