Student Nurses Assist With Flu Shots
     Student nurses from Molloy College (2nd from left to right, Maureen O'Hara, Deborah Walsh, Sherrie Strain and Carmine Parisi), along with their Professor, Margaret Mullarkey, RN (left) joined with Winthrop-University Hospital nurses to administer vaccines at Garden City's annual Senior Citizen Flu Shot Program recently. The students also assisted Winthrop nurses in immunizing seniors at the Village of Mineola last month. Thanks to Winthrop's nurses and the students, close to 600 seniors were immunized. Both programs were co-sponsored the Nassau County Department of Senior Citizen Affairs, the Nassau County Department of Health, and Nassau University Medical Center.
