Fifth-Graders Study Constitution
Drew Belger and Matt Duffy worked with Mrs. Wohlberg. They were illustrating specific amendments to demonstrate their understanding of what each amendment means
As part of the New York State curriculum in social studies for the fifth grade, Mrs. Wohlberg’s class studied our nation’s government through an in-depth study of the United States Constitution, including the Preamble and Bill of Rights. The students read and analyzed these documents to try and understand the compromises that were necessary to bring it to life, and the foundations that were established for our country’s government.
