Mary Goldner’s kindergarten children A favorite day on the school calendar for primary children is Halloween. Homestead, Locust and Hemlock schools held parades with children in creative and fabulous costumes. Darth Vader, cheerleaders, football and baseball players, princesses, witches, Harry Potter, the Incredible Hulk and Little Red Riding Hood were among the favorites. The children had a great time playing the role of their character and celebrating this fun-filled day.
