YOGA OVER 50 WITH CONNIE MCNIGHT

The Recreation Department will be offering a new yoga program for adults over 50 who are residents of the Inc. Village of Garden City.

Come join this gentle yoga class designed for those over fifty and/or those who wish to benefit from this non-strenuous approach to yoga. Chairs, straps, and other props will be incorporated into this practice to develop and improve muscle strength and flexibility. Connie McKnight, our certified yoga instructor, will teach breathing techniques and yoga postures which will not only improve health but will relax the mind and the body.

This eight week course will be held on Thursdays beginning December 8th in Cluett Hall at the St. Paul's building on Stewart Avenue. The class will run from 11:30 am to 12:30 p.m. The cost of this eight week class will be $40.
