Winning names are drawn at the gala AHRC Christmas luncheon at the Garden City Hotel on December 6. On Tuesday, December 6 the AHRC Garden City Auxiliary will sponsor its gala 42nd annual Christmas Luncheon to benefit children and adults with special needs at the Garden City Hotel.

The program begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Terrace Room with boutique shopping and cocktails. Venders are in place with an elegant array of jewelry, handbags, hats, scarves and shawls, hand dipped chocolates, gifts for the home, and more. Luncheon follows in the grand ballroom at 12:30 p.m. During the meal you will enjoy a special performance of dazzling and colorful tango dancing by the Buenos Aires Tango Dancers. Also, Barbatsuly Brothers of Garden City will present a showing of fabulous new style furs.

Raffles with top prizes are offered. The “I Love New York” package is an all expense paid weekend for two at a New York City hotel compliments of Garden City’s Travel Gallery. The Garden City Hotel “Classic” raffle features an exciting overnight stay for two at the Garden City Hotel including an American Breakfast, plus a come-back-again for Sunday Brunch for two. In addition, there is an exceptional “56 Precious Gifts” raffle.

This annual tradition is the Auxiliary’s most successful fund raiser and seating is limited. Please make your reservations by November 30. Tickets are $80 per person.
