The Nominating Committee of the Central Property Owners' Association (CPOA) of Garden City is seeking candidates for the position of Village Trustee. The term of office for Village Trustee will be for two years from April 2006 to April 2008.

Candidates for the position must live in the Central Section of Garden City.

Residents from the central section who are interested in being considered for this position are requested to secure an application from the chairperson of the nominating committee, Tom Simpson (747-2174), or any of the following members of the nominating committee: Gerard Betts, Kathleen Donnelly (Vice Chair), Kathleen Galgano, Patrick W. Kelly, Dr. Russell Miller, Joseph J. Ortego, Steven P. Vincent and John G. Walsh.

The deadline for the return of a completed application form is Friday, November 18.

Breakfast With Santa

On Saturday, December 3rd, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, J.P. McGeevers Pub will hold its annual “Breakfast With Santa and Mrs. Claus.” This special event is a huge success with a present for each child and a wonderful hot breakfast. J. P. McGeevers Pub is located at 273 Nassau Blvd. in Garden City.
