Free Screenings For Eye Disease

 In recognition of National Diabetic Eye Disease Month in November, to raise awareness and prevent vision loss, Stahl Eye Center in Garden City will offer free screenings for eye disease for anyone who has diabetes on Thursday, November 3, 2005, 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at 450 Endo Boulevard in Garden City. Appointments are required, and anyone interested can call 516-832-8000. Legislator Roger Corbin will also be at Stahl Eye Center at 11 a.m. to issue a citation from the Nassau County Legislature declaring November Diabetic Eye Disease Awareness Month in Nassau County.
