Niki takes control of the ball. After being rained out of the Windsor Tournament in Connecticut, the Garden City Daredevils were eager to get back on the field to win another game!

And, win we did with a convincing 7-0 over a very good Plainedge Spirit team. Our record is now 5-0 and we are in first place.

With great defense from Bitty, Taylor, Niki, Kelsey and me no one was going to score on our net. Niki was great keeping all of the balls that got near her away from her net! Taylor was making some of the best throw-in's and kicks of her life! I had some big headers in the first ten minutes to start off the game. Bitty did awesome at defense and scored the best goal I've ever seen! But most importantly Kelsey stopped every ball she could see making her one of the most talented goalies on Long Island!

Kelsey gets set to save another! The half-backs doing all the work were Jackie, Courtney, Lily, Erin, and Victoria. They were winning the ball and passing it up so we could get a clear shot. They really wore down the Plainedge team with their hard work and great ball handling. They had a bunch of crossing passes and give and goes that led to our forwards getting goals. Up on top were Carly, Krista, and Jane who got the ball quickly and scored the goals.

Erin takes the ball downfield as Jacqueline backs her up. With Lauren as our coach you'll never know what will happen. She changed all the positions around in the 2nd half. Krista went to Half-back, Carly went to Central Midfield, Courtney, Bitty, Taylor and I went to forward and Jane went to defense. So basically the whole team turned upside-down!

Erin made her big kicks to show who's boss. Lily, Victoria, Jackie, and Courtney were by far the best half-backs of the game. Carly did some great moves around some hard defenders. While Jane scored two great goals, Krista did fantastic crossing passes and huge kicks. By the end of the game Jane, Carly, Erin, Krista, Bitty and I scored and Victoria, Courtney, Jackie and Lily had assists and Niki, Taylor and Kelsey didn't allow a goal! Soon The Daredevils will fight again hoping to stay undefeated.
