Bitty really boots it out of the goal! On Saturday October 1st, the team I play for the GC daredevils beat New Hyde Park Royal Cats 9-1, which kept us in the lead for the division with a 4-0 record. Unbelievable! We won because everybody passed the ball, talked to each other and did their jobs.

We had Brynne and Carly get Hat Tricks! Erin, Krista and Lily also had goals. They received left and right footed crossing passes from all of the halfbacks - Jackie, Jane, Victoria, Lily and me. Erin had some great corner kicks that helped us get some goals. When we were out on the field and had a good lead we started to do things that Lauren our trainer taught us in practice like the step over move, which is my favorite. I saw a lot of my teammates doing the cut, the step over and the pullback. Carly did some give and goes. We are just starting to learn that.

Lily kicks the ball downfield! On defense Jackie, Bitty, Niki, Taylor and Carly played great! They got to all the balls and kicked them out of there. We also had two great Goalies - Kelsey and Bitty. They stopped all of the shots on goal and this was Bitty's 1st time playing Goalie! Yea! When we were out on the sidelines we looked at the game and cheered for our teammates and the parents cheered too.
