The Thursday Luncheon group will hold its first meeting of the fall season on Thursday, October 13 beginning at noon. Senior Citizens who’d like to get together for fun and fellowship are invited to join the Thursday Lunch Group. We meet from noon to 1:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month in the parlor of the Community Church. The hostesses Sue Bashian and Alice Melkonian will provide lunch, as well as dessert and beverage on October 13. Martha Pearson will play for us on the piano and we will have time to share summer activities and experiences.

Since luncheon will be provided, guests are asked to make reservations by calling the church office at 746-1700 between 9 a.m.-3 p.m. by Monday, October 10. Members of the Community are welcome. If you need a ride, call the church office. Looking forward to seeing you on the 13.

The Garden City Community Church is part of the United Church of Christ. Worship services are Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. with the church school for children and a crib room for infants and toddlers at the later service.
