Free Opera Performance Of: “IL TROVATORE”
Alfonso Tepedino The fully staged opera “Il Trovatore” by Giuseppe Verdi will be performed in Italian by OPERA PRO VOCE at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 16, 2005 at the Garden City Public Library. The music is melodious and the action swift in Verdi’s exciting story of a gypsy’s vengeance! This first class Long Island based opera company will feature: tenor Alfonso Tepedino as “Manrico,” soprano Joy Tepedino as “Leonora,” mezzo-soprano Lisa Connolly as “Azucena,” and bass-baritone James Kouzoukian as “Ferrando.” These highly accomplished vocalists will perform with costumes and set pieces.
