Blue Ribbon winner Marlene Proct teaches adults basic knitting techniques. Ms. Proct, who is certified by the Craft Yarn Council of America, will take you through the process of making a scarf or hat for the upcoming cooler days. Registration is required and limited to Garden City residents. Registration (which began on Wednesday, Sept 28th) must be done in person. The Workshops will take place October 11, October 18, and October 25, at 7:00 PM. Materials required are one skein of worsted weight knitting yarn and a pair of #7, 8 or 9 knitting needles.
