Garden City S.E.P.T.A invites you to join us for a parent meeting on Wednesday, October 12th at 7:30PM at the Garden City High School Library.
Topic: The Parent Role In A Collaborative Team
Managing behavior in a positive, loving and supportive manner, while building a collaboration with physicians, parents, teachers and community
Training parents & teachers gives students tools to be successful at home, in school and in social settings
Speaker: Elaine Lerner, MSW, CSW
Ms. Lerner specializes in parent training and teaches parents whose children have ADD or AD/HD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder), CD (Conduct Disorder), Anxiety Disorders, Language Disorders and/or Depression.
Although this is scheduled as a parent meeting for 6-12th graders, all are welcome!
