On Saturday September 24th, Garden City girls decided they wanted to do their part to help others affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. They worked together to develop dance routines and performed them for an audience who made generous donations to the Red Cross. The girls drew up flyers to advertise their benefit performance and provided refreshments during the show. They dressed in red, white and blue to show their pride in their country. Selma Bryant, Brenna and Maddy Colucci and Lizzie were the show's organizers and talented performers. Becca DiBona helped choreograph the dances and Cara Stapleford was the hospitality coordinator and made sure refreshments were available to all. The girls raised $70.00 for the Red Cross and everyone enjoyed the entertainment! More ...
