Eliminate Bad Habits Through Hypnosis

The Garden City Library is the place to be on Sunday, October 2nd at 2:00 PM to find out how to "Eliminate Bad Habits through Hypnosis". If you are trying to lose weight, quit smoking, overcome stress, etc. self-hypnosis has been shown to be effective. Charles Brody, M.E.D., a certified hypnotherapist will show you how hypnosis may be the key to success. Knitting Workshop for Adults

Blue Ribbon winner Marlene Proct teaches adults basic knitting techniques. Ms. Proct, who is certified by the Craft Yarn Council of America, will take you through the process of making a scarf or hat for the upcoming cooler days. Registration is required and limited to Garden City residents. Registration will take place on Wednesday, Sept 28th and must be done in person. Materials required are one skein of worsted weight knitting yarn and a pair of #7, 8 or 9 knitting needles. For further information contact Laura Flanagan at the Garden City Library 742-8405.
