New York State Senator Kemp Hannon (R-Garden City) will be featured on Cablevision's "Meet the Leaders" television program, on channel 18, throughout the month of October. The public is encouraged to tune in as Senator Hannon discusses, with host Pat Halpin, his proposed sales tax cap on gasoline, important school accountability legislation, Hannon's law to report and track infectious disease and other matters significant to New York State residents.

"The high cost of energy is having a major impact on our economy, pinching the pocketbooks of families. My plan addresses the immediate need to lower gas prices," said Senator Hannon.

During "Meet the Leaders," Senator Hannon, chair of the Senate Health Committee, also discusses hospital finance, medicare and actions towards budget reform.
