Marilyn Keer, Chairlady of the Friendship Luncheon for the Community Club of Garden City & Hempstead, has announced that she has three Hawaiian dancers who will perform at the luncheon. Julie Fehler, President of the Community Club, is the Honorary Chairlady. Noel Burks will be in charge of making up the tables, Florence Frieda is in charge of Mailings, Eleanor Singer is Reservations and Treasurer, Muriel Urban will do the Publicity and Decorations. Doris Buck is also a member of the Committee. Photos of the event will be taken by John Ellis Kordes.

The Friendship Luncheon will be held at the Garden City Country Club on Tuesday, September 27 th at 12 Noon. The price is $55 per person and checks should be made payable to Community Club of Garden City & Hempstead and sent to Mrs. Eleanor Singer at 161 Stewart Ave. Garden City, N.Y. 11530. Please include your phone number on the check as well as your menu selection which is on your Invitation. The Luncheon kicks off the Fall season for the members of the Community Club and their guests. Do make sure that you get your reservations in promptly. You won’t want to miss this one.
