Free ‘Totsaver’ Demonstration
The life you save may be your child’s. Attend Winthrop-University Hospital’s Perspectives in Health program, “Totsaver” on Tuesday, June 21, 2005, to see a free demonstration of infant and child CPR. Held at 7:00 PM at Winthrop’s Community Outreach Center, 101 Mineola Boulevard in Mineola, the program will familiarize you with what you need to know during an emergency.
Margaret Murphy, RNC, MS, Maternal/Child Health Nurse Manager, will demonstrate the latest techniques in infant and child CPR, and relief of an obstructed airway. A question and answer period will follow the demonstration.
Attendees are asked to arrive at 6:45 PM for registration and to park in the rear of the building. Admission is free, but seating is limited. Reservations are required. To reserve your place, call (516) 663-8300.
