ACS Kitchen Tour Is Next Wednesday
It is not too late to plan to join us on Wednesday, June 1 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. for the Garden City Unit of the American Cancer Society’s Kitchen Tour. This terrifically popular event, held just once every other year, allows you to tour five of the most breathtaking kitchens and great rooms in Garden City. And this year, we’ve added an additional treat. With your tour ticket, you are also invited to the Viking Culinary Arts Center on Franklin Avenue, which will host cooking demonstrations and food tastings in their multi-level theater and offer a one-day discount on all of their merchandise and classes.
Tickets to the tour cost $40 in advance, or $45 on the day of the tour. Tickets to win one of ten fabulous door prizes cost $5 each, or six tickets for $20 (if purchasing door prize tickets, please remember to include your name, address and phone number, winners will be contacted by phone after the tour). Door prizes and tour tickets may be purchased by sending your check, made payable to the American Cancer Society. Garden City Unit, to Mrs. Frank Segarra at 180 Kilburn Road, Garden City, NY 11530. Please note cameras are not permitted, and we are not able to welcome children under the age of 12. There are no paper tickets to the event, instead your name will be on a list at each of the houses on the tour and at Viking. We thank you for your support and look forward to sharing this fun-filled day with you.
