The Lady Rams started the game slowly and fell behind 3-0 early in the first quarter before Krista Dampman scored to cut the deficit to 3-1. Mary Glenn added two second period goals with her second tally cutting the Farmingdale lead to 5-3 just before halftime. The Lady Rams fell behind 6-3 early in the third quarter before two Addie Zebrowski goals cut the deficit to 6-5 entering the final period. The Lady Rams final goal by Krista Dampman pulled the team within 7-6, but the comeback fell just short as Farmingdale held on for the victory. The goal scorers were set up by key assists from Courtney Studdart (3 assists), Carly Knowles and Jacqueline Jahelka as well as a strong offensive effort from Haley Shannon and Louisa Boliva. Effective groundball play was provided by Mimi Johnson, Emily Betts, and Catherine McDougal throughout the contest.
