Nighthawks Sweep Double Header

The Garden City Nighthawks a U-10 travel team, traveled to Meade Avenue Field in Bethpage on April 17 to play a double header against the Bethpage Eagles. It was a beautiful day for baseball in deed, The Nighthawks won both games with the scores of 13 to 9 and 11 to 8. It was the boys first ever double header sweep. The boys fielded well and hit tremendously. Congratulations to the Coaches and the entire Nighthawks team for such impressive playing. The players, Thomas Bruno, Christopher DeSimone, Drew Gallagher, Thomas Holbrook, Michael LeMonda, Matthew Leto, Nicholas LoVerde, Matthew Lydon, Alex Ostermann, Brendan Polke, John Santucci, Marc Schwendemann, Daniel Smith, Joey Trapasso, Robert Vani, Phillip Volz, Luke Zeccola.
