GC Rams 4th Grade Lax Team Sean Walsh, Mike Walsh, Chris Thomas, Matt Haeffner, Brian Badgett, Justine Guterding, Jack Metzler, Keith Danks, Christian Capozzi, Tim Confort, Thomas Holbrook Cory Fitzpatrick, Joe Stone, Ed Blatz, Jack Worstell, Michael Paxton, Joe Powers Adelphi Coaches: John Savage, Matt Schomberg Last Saturday, the Fourth Grade Garden City Rams Lacrosse team were invited to play at the conclusion of the Adelphi vs. C.W. Post Men's NCAA lacrosse game at Adelphi. Head coach, Sandy Kapatos had members of his coaching staff John Savage, Matt Schomberg, and Doug Machem run a full field scrimmage on their home field. Adelphi coordinator Michael Chisena ran the public announcement system to ensure all the action was being captured.

Adelphi Head Coach, Sandy Kapatos, shares his youth lacrosse experience with the GC Rams After the game Head Coach Kapatos shared his youth lacrosse experiences with the 4th grade team, and stressed the importance of practicing off the field, "hitting the wall" to develop his stick work. Coach Kapatos grew up in Levittown, NY and he told the story about a brick wall in his bed room where he would bounce the ball off the brick until he drove his parent's nuts. The young lax players had a good laugh and huddled up with Coach Kapatos and his coaching staff for a final break down to end the day. I was a great experience for all that attended. Go Rams!
