The Guterding, McDaid, Muller, and Metzler coached 4th grade team suffered their first loss of the season (6-5) at Cold Spring Harbor, on Mother's Day morning. Cold Spring Harbor rallied with three straight goals to take a 5-3. lead after three periods. The BLUE rallied late in the fourth period only to come up short due to the Cold Spring Harbor's goalie, as well as some bad luck of hitting two pipes late in the game.

Justin Guterdin scores 1 of 3 goals for the blue. The BLUE midfield led by John McDaid, Brian Defliese, (5 ground balls), John Walczyk, Patrick Keogh, and Spencer Bais, were aggressive throughout the game.

The BLUE defense led by Joe Stone,Kyle Skramko, Joe Powers, Eric Sundius, and Matt Vitale played their usual aggressive style in front of goalie Matt Cortese, only to be undermined by some unfortunate bounces of the ball.

The attack led by Lucas Clay, Christian Capozzi, Alex Schroeder, and Peter Kerantzas, played well in the battle. Next week, the GC BLUE will try to get back to their winning ways, when they travel to Manhasset to take on their bitter rivals at 4:30 pm. Go Blue!!!!!!!!!!!!
