Lillian Forziat of Garden City was recently presented with the Best In Show award for her still-life work, Red Cloisonne Vases and Ivy, in a juried fine art competition conducted by the Floral Park Art League in conjunction with their 49th Annual Spring Fine Art Show. Few fine art organizations have had as long and as noteworthy a history as that of the Floral Park Art League. Fewer still have the capacity and the initiative to promote two annual shows (spring and fall).

Ms. Forziat works primarily with oils on canvas. Her landscape, seascape, and still-life paintings have found homes in private collections throughout the northeast, and may be seen in galleries in Newport, RI, Stamford, CT, and on Long Island.
