The game started around 11:30 with the Warriors taking early control of the game. North Babylon managed to keep the ball in Goalbuster territory for the first 5 minutes of play. Fortunately, the Goalbusters managed to keep the Warriors from scoring opportunities and finally took control of the game. The Goalbuster defense was relentless in pushing the ball out of the box and delivering it to the midfielders. The midfielders and the offense kept hounding the Warrior defense, taking many shots on goal. At the 12 minute, a handball foul in the box was called against the Warriors. This put Goalbuster Kate Butcher at the 18 yard line for a shot against the Warrior goalie. Kate executed a line drive shot that whizzed past the Warrior goal tender for the first goal scored in the game. The Warriors responded with a goal of their own at the 23 minute. The whistle sounded at 12:00 to end the first half of the game with a score of Goalbusters 1, Warriors 1.

At the 55 minute, Krysta Cento had a throw-in play within the 18 yard line of the Warrior's end. She threw the ball to the foot of Elizabeth Mahoney, who took a shot on goal that landed for the second and final goal scored for the Goalbusters.
