Peter A. Bee, Citizen of the Year, Patrick S. Smalley, Community Achievement Award winner and Francine Nelson, Business Person of the Year (Photos by John Ellis Kordes) Friday evening, April 22, the Chamber will hold its 3rd annual Pineapple Ball - Garden City's quintessential event. The Grand Ballroom of the Garden City Hotel will be filled with a sellout roster of Chamber members and guests who will come to celebrate the spirit of good will and good business as they honor three outstanding citizens.

Peter A. Bee, Esq., partner in the firm of Bee Ready Fishbein Hatter & Donovan, LLP and Village Trustee, will be recognized as Garden City's Citizen of the Year. Patrick S. Smalley, Executive Vice President of Fairhaven Properties and the Garden City Hotel will receive the Community Achievement Award. Francine Nelson, General Manager of the Seventh Street Cafe will be honored as Business Person of the Year. Additionally, Thomas Sebring, Garden City High School senior, will be presented with the Chamber Foundation's Excellence in Business Education Scholarship.
