Welcoming Club Upcoming Events Ladies Night Out!

Summer is around the corner; do you want an updated look? Then, join us at Lord & Taylor for an evening of fashion on Thursday, April 21st at 7:30pm. The evening will consist of a fashion show and accessorizing tips for the summer from the Lord & Taylor experts while enjoying a delicious three course dinner, including wine and coffee, at the Signature Cafe. Please make your checks payable to the Garden City Welcoming Club for $40 and send them to Lisa Caluori at 52 Brompton Rd. Please indicate whom you would like to sit with on your checks or send in your checks together. If you are paying for a friend, please make sure to write your friends name on your check too. Also, if you are a newcomer and are coming alone, please let us know and we will place you at a table with other new members or with board members.

A Trip To White Post Farms!

Please join us for a fun-filled day at White Post Farms on Tuesday, April 26th from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm! Each child will have their very own pony ride, and then it's off to see the baby animals where the children will be able to hold and bottle feed the baby animals. The children are sure to love it! Pizza and juice will be served for everyone, as well as dessert. White Post Farms is located at 250 Old Country Road in Melville. Hope to see everyone there! The cost is $20 per child and $6 per adult. Checks should be made out to the Garden City Welcoming Club and mailed to Caroline Gerasimovich, 107 Monroe Street. Note: Please include the name of each child attending.

Membership Coffee

Our next membership coffee will be held on Thursday, May 19th, at the lovely home of Helen Hagen, 268 Stewart Ave. Membership is open to all adult female residents of Garden City. You do not have to be a new member of the community or a new mom! As an organization, we strive to offer something for everyone...book clubs, bunko groups, tennis, bowling, ladies nights out, movie nights etc...So if you are new to the community and would like to meet your neighbors, or just interested in a bit of social activity, consider attending our next membership coffee.
