Senior Connections presents a public forum on the changing multi-faceted roles of Grandparents and Grandchildren. Opportunities to maintain family bonds will be presented and inter-generational sharing will be highlighted.

This Forum will be held on Tuesday, April 19 th, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. in the Downstairs Meeting Room at the Garden City Public Library. (Elevator available). Refreshments. The featured speaker will be Charlotte Allen, Professor of Gerontology at Malloy College, Department of Social Work. Professor Allen will welcome audience discussion.

Discussion On Elder Care

On April 26 at 7 pm at the Senior Recreation Center, Elder Care experts Sheila Mansfield, Patient Care; Michael Pfeifer, Esq; and ann Recht, LMSW Geriatric Care Manager will meet with interested residents on decisions concerning our senior population.

This discussion is open to any interested resident regardless of age. Be prepared for decisions concerning aging parents. Learn about healthcare options to ensure quality of life. No reservations are necessary.
