On March 16, Fidelity Investments on Franklin Avenue, hosted the ninth in its series of After Hours Networking Events where business people and residents get together in an informal relaxed atmosphere to promote business and exchange pleasantries.
Peter Gardner, manager, Garden City's Kings Supermarket who catered the event, along with Antonia Fattizzi, marketing manager of "57 Main Street" Wine Company who graciously provided the wine, and "Jimmy" Karanikas, owner, Barbatsuly Furs. Networking are Bert Donley (Garden City Properties) and Maureen Clancy (Clancy & Clancy Brokerage, Ltd.), both of whom are past Chamber presidents, along with John Pittoni (Pittoni, Bonchonsky and Zaino, LLP. Ross Mongiardo, president of the Garden City Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. presents the raffle prize, dinner for four, graciously donated by Seventh Street Cafe to benefit the Foundation, to winner Joanne Florey (Chicago Title Insurance Company), Chamber member, In the background is the Tom Wagner Trio which provides background music for all After Hours Events. The next After Hours will be held on May 11 at Independence Community Bank in celebration of the branch's first anniversary at 998 Franklin Avenue. |
