Tigers Micheal Desimone and Brian Alcamo participated in the story of the Blue and Gold, as Cubmaster Don Belger narrated the ceremony. The final ceremony at the Blue and Gold is the Bridging of 5th grade Shark Patrol to Boy Scout Troop 55. The Webelos were greeted by Boy Scouts Micheal Castellano and Zach LaRose as they crossed the bridge from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. They received red loops for their uniform shirts. Scout Master Mike Natilli welcomed them into Troop 55 and presented them with Troop 55 neckerchiefs. Pictured is Boy Scout Scott LaRose. Webelos Panther Patrol celebrated Rank at the Blue and Gold Dinner. Webelos stands for We Be Loyal Scouts. Thomas Rocco and his mom Evelyn Rocco are all smiles at the Pack 55 Blue and Gold Dinner. The scouts and their parents enjoyed this time together to celebrate their scouting achievements. Troop 55 and Pack 55 are sponsored by the Cathedral of the Incarnation Church in Garden City. Best Campers Award went to Sharks Ryan Castellano and Scott LaRose, presented by Pack Committee Chair Eileen LaRose. Both Ryan and Scott completed five camping trips with the Cub Scouts, including Camporees and a Boy Scout canoe trip on the Delaware River. These future Eagle Scouts are well prepared for the outdoor life in Boy Scouts. Tiger Den 2 celebrated the birthday of Cub Scouting, which is 75 years old in 2005.
