Mr. and Mrs. Denis Lafreniere Suzanne Choi Sheehy, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Patrick Sheehy of Garden City was married on August 14, 2004 to Denis John Lafreniere, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Denis Lafreniere, Sr., of Limington, Maine.

The Reverend Hank Hilton, S.J. celebrated the Nuptial Mass at Loyola College Alumni Chapel in Baltimore, Maryland.

Mrs. Lafreniere is a 1999 graduate of Garden City High School and a 2003 graduate of Loyola College. She attended Ave Maria Law School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Mary Kim Mehlman, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Juliana D’Andrilli, and Christine Randazzo, friends from Garden City, and Erin O’Keefe and Elizabeth Guise, friends from Loyola, were here bridesmaids. Abigail Lindkvist, niece of the bride was the flower girl.

Mr. Lafreniere graduated magna cum laude from Loyola College in 2003 and completed his Masters in Business Finance in 2004 graduating summa cum laude. He is currently employed with Advantage Commercial Funding in Portland, Maine as a commercial loan underwriter.

Graig Linn was the best man. Timothy Chizmar, and James Reidy, friends from Loyola and Jeremy and Joshua Paulin, childhood friends from Maine served as ushers. Suzanne and Denis honeymooned on a cruise to the Caribbean. They currently reside in the Portland, Maine area.
