Lecturer/Historian To Speak

Lillian LaPlac, Chairman of the Americanism/Current Events Department of the Community Club
Lillian LaPlac, Chairman of the Americanism/Current Events Department of the Community Club Martha Kolodkin, an American history educator, will be the speaker at the meeting of the Community Club on Tuesday, February 22 nd at the Garden City Casino.

Ms. Kolodkin’s subject will be “The Presidents’ Mothers: The Women Who Shaped Them”, a view of the relationships and influences these women had in shaping the personalities of American presidents from Franklin Roosevelt to George Bush.

Lillian LaPlac, Chairman of the Americanism/Current Events department of the Community Club, invites members and their guests to stay for tea following the program.
