Co-Presidents Regina Harte and Jane O’Keeffe with Peg D’Angelo, who generously opened up her breathtaking home for the annual Mercy Christmas Coffee and Co-Vice Presidents Maureen Belger and Tara Walsh. The Garden City League of Mercy Medical Center held its Annual Christmas Coffee at Peg and Peter D’Angelo’s home on Thursday, December 2nd. The event was a huge success! Past presidents were busy pouring coffee and tea. Volunteers greeted guests. Mercy members enjoyed tea sandwiches, delicious desserts and Christmas Cheer. Ladies enjoyed the fantastic boutique shopping. More than 25 women signed up to be Mercy members that day!

Co-President Regina Harte with new member Josephine deMoura, whose husband, Alexandre deMoura M.D., is the chief of Authopedics at Mercy Medical Center, and Co-President Jane O’Keeffe. Sisters Jean Mulhorn and Eleanor Folk were dressed in their Christmas clothes. Jane O’Keeffe with sister-in-law Maria Hildreth wore festive snowflake pins sold by Mercy member and Christmas boutique vendor Judy Smith. Mercy supporters enjoyed delicious tea sandwiches while past president Jeanne Nason served them a warm cup of sunshine! Christmas vendors, Mimi Aneser of Paisleys Children’s Boutique with Andrea Harder of the Garden Bench sold their holiday trinkets! Co-President Jane O’Keeffe with the most adorable Mercy member Liz Durand, who is hosting the 3rd annual “Hats Off To Summer” in her fabulous garden on Thursday, June 16. Save the date, don’t forget your hat. Longtime Mercy supporters, Maryanne Reilly and Mary Beth Bianci enjoyed the Christmas cheer! Mother/daughter co-chairman Tricia Sarkis and Maureen Brennan with future president, Baby Kelly Brennan. Their women give much time raising money for the cancer care unit at Mercy: Sonia Maniaci, Vivian Tener and Gerda Schoffelen.
