Dennis Donnelly, chairman of the event, has announced some dazzling “extras” that promise once again to make this Garden City’s quintessential event” of the season. Featured will be upscale dance music by Chaser, a silent auction, complimentary favors and the Pineapple Ball Journal.
A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of awards to Chamber honorees for 2005. They are Peter A. Bee, Citizen of the Year; Patrick S. Smalley, Recipient of the Community Achievement Award; and Fran Nelson, Business Person of the Year.
An added attraction will be the presentation of a scholarship to a Garden City High School senior who will receive the Excellence in Business Education Scholarship Award, sponsored by the Garden City Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
