The Garden City High School cheerleaders and Marty Lyons During the holiday season, the Garden City High School cheerleaders attended the Marty Lyons Foundation Holiday Party at Huntington Town House. The foundation, started by former Jets player Marty Lyons in 1982, provides special wishes to children diagnosed with a terminal or chronic life-threatening illness. The Garden City cheerleaders performed and danced with children. This was their fourth year attending the party for the Marty Lyons Foundation. The girls had a great time placing smiles on the children’s faces.
