The Garden City Friends of Music is planning its annual “Showcase of Student Stars” concert. This year, it will be held on Sunday, March 6 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Garden City Community Church in Gardner Hall (handicap accessible). The church is located on Stewart Avenue and Whitehall Boulevard. The public is welcome to attend this free concert.

Interested K-12 performers should contact Elizabeth Stranathan, President, at 248-7006 to register. Registration is based on a first come basis with limited space availability. Due to time constraints and space availability, larger ensembles, which include rock groups, cannot be accommodated. The deadline for entries is February 20.

The Garden City Friends of Music is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support and enrichment of the music program in all Garden City Public Schools.
