St. Joseph School Celebrates Christmas
Organizer Mary Ellen Drogalis and daughter inspect the hundreds of wreaths made and sold by PTA mothers and awaiting pick up in the Auditorium.
St. Joseph School proudly displays a scrapbook of their Christmas events throughout December. From the wreathmaking sale to the Santa Breakfast, the PTA kept busy. The children were reminded of the true reason for the season as even nursery students re-enacted the nativity scene. In the December assembly, first graders had the honor of performing a presentation for the parents complete with a host of angels, shepherds, Mary, Joseph and even one little girl who played the star of Bethlehem. Later, third graders staged a musical play about toys discovering the gift of Jesus to us all. The events set a joyful tone for both parents and students alike and were an appropriately prayerful segue into the Christmas holidays which followed soon after.
