“The Death Penalty Up Close and Personal” will be the topic at the Garden City Community Church Forum this Sunday, January 16. The guest speaker will be David Kaczynski, executive director of New Yorkers Against the Death Penalty and the brother of Theodore Kaczynski, the so-called Unabomber.

As director of NYADP and as a board member of the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, he is currently working on a campaign to ban the death penalty for people with serious mental illnesses. Mr. Kaczynski’s brother had been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and was originally charged capitally. David will share his personal story.

The community is invited to this very special and important forum which is held in the church parlor at 9:15 a.m.
