The Garden City Recreation Department will be sponsoring a new “Senior” group that will meet on Monday mornings at the Garden City Recreation Center on Golf Club Lane. The group is designed to give senior residents of the Inc. Village of Garden City a place to meet with old and new friends and discuss topics of interest. Possible events may include book discussions, trips, and speakers. Anyone aged 60 or above is eligible to join. The first meeting of this group will take place on Monday, January 24th at 9:30 a.m. For further information, please contact the Recreation Office at 465-4075.
