PO Hennessy, while on routine patrol at Garden City/Boylston Street on January 10, at 4:17 a.m., observed a motorist driving in a suspicious manner, and when that motorist failed to stop at a stop sign the officer attempted to pull him over. The motorist, a 39-year-old Roslyn man refused, and the police followed him throughout the eastern section of the Village for 5 minutes before he stopped, at Lefferts Road/Transverse Road. The man also refused arrest; he had over 23 traffic violations at that point, which included going through traffic lights and stop signs as well as reckless driving. In addition, the motorist was allegedly in possession of cocaine…ON JANUARY 9, 12:45 A.M., PO Florio observed a car allegedly speeding on Clinton Road near Old Country Road and subsequently arrested the motorist, a 26-year-old Alexandria, Virginia man for alleged DWI (.22%) there…ON JANUARY 9, 3:25 a.m., PO Hickey arrested a 31-year-old Freeport man for alleged DWI (.16%) after the motorist crossed white lane markings on Stewart Avenue…ON JANUARY 7, 3:30 A.M. PO Florio arrested a 38-year-old White Plains man for alleged DWI (.09%) on Stewart Avenue.
