Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Stephen I. Leitman, the district administrators and the Board of Education have begun the budget process for the 2005-2006 school year. Preliminary budget request forms have been reviewed and budget parameters have been established.

Residents are encouraged to attend a series of budget work sessions to fully understand all budget documents. These meetings also provide opportunities for taxpayers to voice concerns and give comments.

Monday, February 14, 2005 - Budget Work Session #2, Instructional components and Regular Work Session

Monday, February 28, 2005 - Budget Work Session #3, Instructional components and Regular Board Meeting

Monday, March 7, 2005 - Budget Work Session #4, All Non-instructional areas/Wrap up, Administrative and Capital Components

Monday, March 14, 2005 - Board of Education Work Session, Final Adjustments and Refinements (if necessary) and Regular Work Session

Monday, May 9, 2005 - Public Hearing: 8:15 p.m. Administration Building

Tuesday, May 10, 2005 - Voter Registration: 4-10 p.m. High School Cafeteria

Tuesday, May 17, 2005 - Budget Vote: 7 a.m.-10 p.m. High School Gym
