John Gibson The Garden City Chamber of Commerce will kick off its 2005 Luncheon Program Series on Thursday, January 26, noon, at the Garden city Hotel. Members and guests will be treated to a return visit for the sixth consecutive year from John Gibson, Fox News Anchor, January keynote speaker.

The Chamber will continue its newly initiated Business Showcase, offering Chamber members the opportunity to promote their businesses at an exhibit before the noon reception period at ll:30 a.m..

As Fox News Anchor, John Gibson hosts the “Big Story” weekdays from 5-6 p.m., channel 22. The show examines all facets of the major news stories of the day and presents viewers with compelling newsmaker interviews and discussions on breaking news events. His upcoming talk promises to fill us in on behind-the-scenes facts about key issues, including the upcoming presidential race.

Prior to joining FOX News, John Gibson was at MSNBC hosting the network’s news talk programs, including “Newschat” and “Internight.” He also served as substitute anchor for CSNBC’s “Rivera Live.” Preceding the existence of MSNBC, Gibson hosted a news program for America’s Talking.

Before his stint at America’s Talking, Gibson was a West Coast correspondent for NBC News Channel where he supplied NBC affiliates with live reports on various breaking news events. Gibson also served as an NBC News correspondent based in California, where he provide extensive coverage of key news events including the O.J. Simpson criminal trial, America’s involvement in Mogadishu, Somalia, and the invasion of the Branch Davidian Compound in Waco, Texas. John Gibson is the author of

Garden City residents are cordially invited, along with members of the business community, to attend this Chamber luncheon program series. The program will commence with the exhibit showcasing various Garden city businesses at 11:30 a.m. A reception, with opportunity to socialize and network, will begin at noon. Luncheon will be served promptly at 12:30 p.m. Advance reservations at $60 for Chamber members and $65 for non-members are required. There will be open seating with tables of 10 reserved.
