Islanders Visit Brownies

Peyton Flynn admired her official game puck.

New York Islanders General Manager Mike Milbury and Head Equipment Manager Scott Moon visited Brownie Troop #1353 recently to talk to the girls about sportsmanship, conditioning and the importance of wearing the proper equipment. As part of their Girls Sport Try-It, the troop got to try on game-used Islander equipment, participate in a question and answer session and receive an official game puck.

Brownie Troop #1353 would like to thank Mr. Milbury and Mr. Moon for all their time and hard work. The girls had a wonderful time.

Moon and troop co-leader Michele Bastiani helped Samantha Jaeger into a pair of hockey pants. Scott Moon helped Annie Ostrowski try on shin guards and hockey socks.
