Birch-Karwelies Engagement

Matthew Karwelies and Kathleen Birch.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Karwelies or Garden City proudly announce the engagement of their son, Matthew Clarke Karwelies to Katherine Therese Birch, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. David Birch of South Orange, NJ.

Matthew is a 1993 graduate of Garden City High School and a 1997 graduate of Johns Hopkins University. He is currently employed as a vice president in Institutional Sales for W. R. Hambrecht + Co. in New York City. Kathleen is a 1995 graduate of Mount Saint Dominic Academy in Caldwell, NJ and a 1999 graduate of Vanderbilt University. Kathleen is currently employed as a senior account manager at Aetna, Inc.

A June 2005 wedding is planned.
