The Hagedorn Little Village School Jack Joel Center for Special Children is a tuition-free school for young children and infants with a wide range of developmental disabilities. Founded by Dr. Caryl Bank and Dr. Barbara Feingold in 1969 with just 3 students, Little Village now serves over 400 youngsters at the school and in their homes. The school has earned an enviable reputation for providing education, rehabilitation and support for these special children and their families. Little Village is a member of the Garden City Community Fund and United Way of Long Island.
