The Women’s Auxiliary of the Garden City Community Church held its annual Election Day Fair on November 2. This year it honored the 75 th anniversary of the church and was very successful thanks to support from the congregation and community.

Garden City Community Church is part of the United Church of Christ. Worship services are on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., with church school for children and a crib room for infants and toddlers at the later service. Charlotte Mitchem, Sue Hall, Frieda Stark, Nancy Fardelmann and Marge Carns made delicious chicken salad for the cafe. Liz McQuaid and Christine Hanson assembled and raffled beautiful gift baskets.
