Cadettes from Garden City Girl Scout Troop #1416 spent a day on Broadway on Nov. 6 participating in a backstage program given by actors from the show “Wonderful Town” the musical is a thrilling revival starring Brooke Shields, and celebrates life in the 1930s, women’s independence and New York City. In the workshop, the girls were entertained by some of the cast, did a little singing and dancing, and (a few) even were allowed on stage. After lunch at a theater-district bistro, they enjoyed a matinee performance of the show at the beautiful Al Hirschfeld Theater.
